Spare Part and Retrofit Advisor
Together with the customer and our multidisciplinary engineering team you will develop solutions to improve machines at customer sites.
You transfer current standards to existing equipment or help to define and develop new solutions tailored to the customer needs.
This enables us to improve productivity and quality of customer production, while also increasing the lifetime of machines and supporting a more sustainable industry.
As a Spare Part and Retrofit Advisor for Extrusion and Retreading equipment, your responsibility is to communicate with our customers and advise them on possibilities to upgrade and retrofit existing equipment. This process starts with initial contact and discussions, and from there on, you guide the projects through to installation and beyond.
You handle the projects with the support of our multidisciplinary engineering team, which provides mechanical, hardware, software support, as well as process knowledge. furthermore;
- Field inspections and remote support are part of the tasks, allowing you to interact with customers.
- You work together with your colleagues to resolve any problems with machines in the field.
- Helping customers to restart production as quickly as possible is part of your responsibility.
You are situated locally in Cham, Germany, and work in the department with another colleague on site, as well as with team members in our headquarters in Epe.
Other colleagues (10) you will work with closely are the Engineering Extrusion department.
You co-operate with all technical disciplines, including software, hardware, and mechanical design.
You are interested in working in a small team with different tasks. Developing new things and optimizing existing code is interesting for you. You also match the following profile;

- You are a team player and have excellent communication skills, which suit you well for cooperating with customers.
- You are fluent in German and English.
